Commercial electricity

Now several local factories invest electric production technology by bagasse to serve internal manufacture and provide for the national electric network. Electricity produced from bagasse is a recycle energy with many potentials. With modern technology, each sugarcane ton may produce 100 kWh.

Electric production from bagasse is modern and effective, safe technology that can save fossil energy. Electric power emitted from bagasse material source has an advantage that does not cause glasshouse effect due to use of modern technological boiler; not influence on the environment because fossil fuel is not used, not need to stop river flow that results in biological unbalance. At the same time, it is not exhausted like petroleum or dangerous like nuclear electricity.

Besides, electric production process from bagasse is not complicated. After pressing sugarcane for sugar, remaining bagasse amount is brought into a boiler to burn vapor generation, then, vapor pressure is put into the boiler to move turbine for power generation.

In 2012/13, NHS has produced 8 million KWH of commercial electricity. In 2013/14, NHS is expected to bring into operation to 30 MW turbine, expected production output is 20 million KWH of commercial electricity for the purpose of serving internal consumption and providing for the national electric network
